- If your toilet has a lot of stains then just use vinegar but if your toilet only has a little stain then mix vinegar with water and spray the mixture all over the rust stains. Wait 10-15 minutes. Take your toilet cleaning brush before your shower and rub very well and wash it all with water. Do this at least twice a week and you will see some results. Vinegar is also a disinfectant. So, it will also reduce the bacteria in your toilet. So, it’s a double win.
- If your toilet has some hard stains you are going to need something stronger. Take some baking powder and sprinkle it all over the toilet. Spray some vinegar on it and wait a few moments. Then take a brush and start brushing your toilet. After brushing vigorously you will see that most of the stains if not all of them will come off. After that wash the residue with water.
- After all of this if there is still stain left on the toilet then you will need something stronger. Take some borax powder and sprinkle it all over the toilet then take a brush and rub vigorously. This will not only remove the stain but also remove odor and bacteria. After using borax powder hide the rest of the borax powder where children and pet can’t reach them. Other than that it is completely safe to use borax as a cleaner. But if you see any allergic reaction in your body then stop using it.
- For a stronger effect mix bleach with your regular toilet cleaner. Bleaching powder is a strong oxidizing agent so, it will clean your toilet faster and more effectively. Bleach is also safe to use. So, you don’t have to worry about that. Keep bleach out of children and pet’s reach.
